According to VoetbalPrimeur, Hans Kraay jr. has expressed his surprise at Ten Hag's statements about the Portuguese star, saying he is 'a bit shocked' by them. Kraay was a guest on Goedemorgen Eredivisie, where Ten Hag discussed his time working with Ronaldo at Manchester United.
Ten Hag reportedly said that Ronaldo 'hasn't been able to perform at his best for the last seven or eight years'. Kraay also revealed that Ten Hag has 'a lot of respect' for Ronaldo's career, but also believes that the player was already past his best during their time together at United.
