AS Roma wants to hire Oosterwolde with a mandatory option to buy for 20 million euros, a sum also valued by Transfermarkt. This would see the left-back join the Italian club for five seasons, with the Dutchman keen to link up with his fellow countrymen at the club.
Gian-Piero Gasperini, the AS Roma coach, believes Oosterwolde would fit perfectly into his system, and the Italian side already has a Dutch enclave at the club with Devyne Rensch, Anass Salah-Eddine, and Donyell Malen all under contract.
Oosterwolde's current contract with Fenerbahçe runs until mid-2028, but the Turkish side's Champions League status is uncertain after their upcoming match against Olympique Lyon.
