Lorran, aged 20, has never managed to secure a place in Flamengo's first team and has experienced fluctuations in the youth team. In January 2025, the club almost agreed to sell the player to CSKA, Russia, for 8 million euros, but the deal fell through due to contract issues. Lorran was subsequently loaned to Pisa, Italy.
The current sale value is 1.3 million euros, approximately R$ 7.7 million. The player's devaluation is attributed to factors such as a lack of minutes in the first team and the absence of more attractive offers. Granada, Spain, made an offer, but it was deemed too poor.
Lorran renewed his contract with Flamengo in August 2024, until 2029, with a 100 million euro release clause. The player had been monitored by top European clubs for years but failed to deliver the expected performance. Now, he is close to finalising the sale to Sharjah FC, but still needs to undergo medical tests before signing the contract.
