Inter Miami has made a significant signing, securing the services of Riquelme Fillipi from Brazilian team Palmeiras. The winger joins the club on a deal that runs until the end of the 2029-30 MLS season, with an option to extend for the 2030-31 season. Riquelme has a strong background, having made 80 appearances for Palmeiras' U20 side and scoring 30 goals and four assists. He also earned 11 matches for the Palmeiras first team across various competitions. The 22-year-old will occupy an under-22 Initiative slot and will join the club once he receives his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and P-1 Visa. This signing marks the first official move since Inter Miami announced Cristian 'Kily' González as their new head coach.
