According to Globo Esporte Futebol, Jesus is due to arrive in Barcelona on Monday afternoon to complete the transfer. The 27-year-old will undergo medical exams before signing a three-year contract, worth around €10 million, as reported by Mundo Deportivo. The Spanish club had inquired about Jesus' physical conditions before the negotiation.

The move is expected to fill the vacancy left by Robert Lewandowski, who departed the club at the end of last season. Barcelona's pursuit of Jesus gained momentum after they failed to secure a deal for Julián Álvarez from Atlético de Madrid.

Jesus is set to be presented officially by Barcelona on Tuesday, following the completion of his medical exams and contract signing.
