Rots thinks that Ouazane's creativity is better suited to a more central role, such as the number 10 position. This would allow a more task-oriented player to occupy the left wing, where they can focus on supporting the team's attacks.
Ouazane was given the opportunity to make his appearance as a substitute against Fortuna Sittard, after Edvardsen performed poorly in the match. Ajax went on to win 1-5. Rots defends Míchel's decision, stating that the coach understands the importance of having a task-oriented player on the left wing. He believes that this approach is more effective than relying on a creative player like Ouazane, who may not always be able to deliver in a more peripheral role.
