De Boer had pinned his hopes on Tsygankov, but the Ukrainian has not lived up to his expectations in terms of speed. "I thought Tsygankov was also fast, but that's not the case," De Boer said. "He has a great left foot, but it's not like he can hurt people with his speed. That depth is missing at Ajax."
De Boer also mentioned that he had hoped for more speed from Tsygankov, but the Ukrainian has not been able to deliver. He also expressed his disappointment with Wim Kieft, who has also expressed his doubts about Tsygankov's abilities. Kieft believes that Tsygankov is not fully fit and that this is a problem for the team.
