Gabriel de Alba, responsible for GDA Luma, has been given the green light to act as the new investor of SAF Botafogo, despite the transfer of 90% of the shares not being completed. The binding agreement signed in June provides legal security for this move.

The transfer process began in July, with the Botafogo Social club taking control of the SAF through a mechanism (subscription bonus) that gave them 51% of the shares, while Eagle was left with 49%. The next step is for the club to discuss the model to be used for the transfer of shares to GDA, with the "right of drag along" being the likely option. This mechanism allows the majority shareholder to force minority shareholders to sell their shares to a specific buyer.
