Ajax Signs Abdoulaye Camara on Loan from Udinese

Ajax has confirmed the arrival of Abdoulaye Camara, a 17-year-old midfielder, on a one-year loan deal from Udinese. The Italian club will retain an option to buy the player at the end of the season. VoetbalPrimeur reports that the transfer is subject to the completion of formalities.

Camara will join Jong Ajax, the reserve team of Ajax, after the transfer is finalized. This move marks a significant shift in the technical direction of Jong Ajax, which is now led by Jordi Cruijff. The team has already signed several players, including Fouad Zahouani, Jano Monserrate, and Diego Pugno, and is reportedly trying to sign Tetê from São Paolo.

Camara has already made his debut in the Serie A with Udinese at the end of last season. He has also played for the French youth national teams, representing France at the U16, U17, U18, and U19 levels. He even captained the U17 team and was named man of the match twice during the World Cup U17.
