According to VoetbalPrimeur, Van Bommel has selected De Busser and Godts for the Belgian national team. The most notable absentee is Koni De Winter, who has been replaced by Josué Kongolo. Van Bommel stated that De Winter was unhappy with not being given playing time for the national team, leading to his decision not to be part of the squad.
The Belgian national team will play two more group stage matches in the UEFA Nations League, starting with a match against Turkey on 12 November at 18:00. They will then face Italy at home on 15 November at 20:45. The team currently sits third in Group A with six points, behind Italy and France.
