Van der Vaart was not impressed with Kovar's performance, stating that he made several mistakes in the game. "I find Kovar a weak goalkeeper, I have to be honest," he said. "He has made a lot of mistakes like this. I'm not yet convinced, but that's not so important." Despite Kovar's mistakes, PSV managed to turn the game around, thanks to a hattrick from Sven Mijnans and a goal from Kodai Sano, winning 4-1.

PSV's director Marcel Brands also commented on Kovar's performance, but saw a positive side to it. "It didn't start well with a blunder from the goalkeeper," Brands said. "It was the first serious ball and it went in." Brands acknowledged that it became difficult for Kovar after Sparta's five defenders were behind the ball. "Try to get through it then," he said.

Kovar did manage to recover quickly from his mistake, as Brands pointed out. "He makes a mistake, but you see that he doesn't have any trouble with it afterwards," Brands said. "He picks up two more balls, so that's also good." Despite the criticism, Kovar's ability to recover from his mistake is a positive sign for the PSV goalkeeper.

PSV will look to build on their win against Sparta Rotterdam, and Kovar will be hoping to bounce back from his mistakes in their next game.
