According to reports, a heatwave in France left the Parc des Princes pitch severely damaged, prompting the French League to prevent PSG from hosting the Rennes match at their stadium. The match was subsequently transferred to the rival's stadium and ended in a 2-2 draw. PSG then imported 700 rolls of grass from Ireland to cover the entire length of the field. The new grass was installed in just three days, from 26 to 28 August. The gardening team then began developing the roots, with a tight deadline of seven days until the game against Monaco, which is scheduled to take place next.
