Omar Allel has been a recruiter at PSG's youth academy for less than ten years. The recruitment cell, led by Pierre Reynaud, was responsible for the signings of the young players who won the U17 and U19 national championships and the Coupe Gambardella last season. However, the cell has been dismantled almost entirely, with Dominique Flamant not being retained and Paulo Gonçalves on sick leave for several months. Allel himself has also been on sick leave.

In response to the departures, PSG has recruited two new scouts, Sigamary Diarra and Thierno Diarra, who have joined from Valenciennes and Amiens respectively. Meanwhile, Pierre Reynaud has returned to work after more than six months on sick leave and has been relieved of his responsibility to Yohan Cabaye, the director of the youth academy. Reynaud is now being courted by AS Monaco.

It is reported that Omar Allel is expected to join Paris FC in the next few weeks.
