Nordin Amrabat has been training with FC Utrecht and the club has now confirmed that he has joined their squad. The 39-year-old has previously played for PSV, Galatasaray and Watford, among others. VoetbalPrimeur reports that Amrabat has been added to the selection of trainer Anthony Correia.

FC Utrecht's technical director Jordy Zuidam was impressed by Amrabat's training sessions and decided to offer him a contract. Amrabat's family has a strong connection to the club, with his younger brother Sofyan currently playing for Ajax. The Amrabat family is happy to return to the Galgenwaard stadium, where they have many fond memories.

FC Utrecht has confirmed that Amrabat is eligible to play for the team immediately. He may make his debut as soon as this Saturday against Go Ahead Eagles, who are currently on one point after four league matches.
