Amrabat's family has a strong connection to the club, with his younger brother Sofyan currently playing for Ajax. The Amrabat family is happy to return to the Galgenwaard stadium, where they have many fond memories.
FC Utrecht has confirmed that Amrabat is eligible to play for the team immediately. He may make his debut as soon as this Saturday against Go Ahead Eagles, who are currently on one point after four league matches.
