NEC drew 1-1 with Levski Sofia in their second Europa League match, failing to win a match for the seventh time in a row. The team's performance was somewhat redeemed from their 5-0 loss to Juventus in the first round. NEC will travel to Dinamo Zagreb for their next match, where they will face another challenge in their quest for a win. NOS Voetbal reports that NEC's fans did not engage in any negative behavior, such as "fluitconcerten", despite speculation about potential protests. The atmosphere in the Goffertstadion was reportedly excellent, with NEC taking the initiative and the fans responding positively.
