According to Voetbal International, NEC played strongly in the Goffert for most of the game, but a weaker phase in the first half resulted in a deficit at halftime. Tjaronn Chery scored a goal after the keeper made a mistake, which helped NEC level the score. Chery's performance earned him a 6.5 rating.
Gonzalo Crettaz, Deveron Fonville, and Darko Nejasmic performed better than others, with Nejasmic being the absolute standout with a 7.5 rating. The lowest ratings went to Bryan Linssen, Kevin Kers, and Perr Schuurs, who received a 5.5 rating. Trainer Dick Schreuder also received a 6 rating.
The ratings are based on performances in the Europa League match against Levski Sofia, with only players who played at least 30 minutes receiving a score.
