Mudryk made his first appearance for Tottenham in a 0-0 draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, September 5. He came on as a substitute in the 74th minute for Mathys Tel under the guidance of manager Roberto De Zerbi. The winger had previously played friendly matches for Chelsea in August but had not played an official match since November 28, 2024, before his doping ban.

Mudryk's return to the Premier League comes after his suspension was lifted following an appeal by Chelsea. The Ukrainian had been banned for four years after testing positive for a banned substance in 2024. The ban was later overturned due to an update in the World Anti-Doping Agency's regulations.
