Manchester City has secured a deal for Iliman Ndiaye, with the Senegalese international set to join the club for 76 million euros. VoetbalPrimeur reports that Ndiaye will sign a contract until the summer of 2031. The transfer comes after Liverpool blocked Manchester City's move for Cody Gakpo, forcing the Citizens to quickly find an alternative.
Everton had initially agreed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur for Ndiaye, but the transfer was cancelled. Manchester City has now taken over the deal, with Ndiaye set to leave Goodison Park. The 32-year-old was a key player for Everton last season, scoring six goals and providing three assists in 32 appearances.
Everton are reportedly interested in signing Jack Grealish from Manchester City as a replacement for Ndiaye.
