Tyrell Malacia, a 27-year-old Netherlands international, has signed for FC Cincinnati on a free transfer. The left-back joins the MLS club after leaving Manchester United at the end of last season. BBC Football reports that Malacia's deal with FC Cincinnati runs until next June, with an option to extend it for the 2027-28 season.

Malacia has experience playing at the highest levels, having made 50 appearances for Manchester United during an injury-hit spell. He also helped PSV Eindhoven win the Eredivisie in 2024-25 while on loan. FC Cincinnati's general manager Chris Albright has welcomed Malacia to the club, praising his quality on the ball, defensive instincts, and team-first mentality.

Malacia's move to FC Cincinnati marks a significant addition to the MLS club's squad.
