Liverpool has signed 18-year-old Belgian goalkeeper Luca Brughmans from KRC Genk. The young goalkeeper has already gained experience with Jong Genk, playing 32 times for the reserve team. He has also had 15 opportunities to play for Genk's first team, keeping six clean sheets.

Brughmans' experience on the highest level is still limited, with only four appearances in the Jupiler Pro League this season and ten appearances in the European play-offs last season. However, Liverpool is convinced of his qualities and potential.

The transfer fee is reportedly 33 million euros, plus two million euros in bonuses. PSV will also benefit from the transfer, receiving 225,000 euros as a result of Brughmans' departure.
