Kherbouch, known as "Ganito", was sentenced to 9 years in prison and fined €80,000 by the Paris Justice. The attackers, who entered the apartment through the balcony, stole luxury watches, jewelry, handbags, money, and car keys, with estimated losses of approximately R$ 3 million.
During the assault, Donnarumma was attacked and threatened with a knife, while Alessia was also attacked and tied up. The attackers demanded luxury watches, jewelry, and other valuable items, with Donnarumma indicating an Audemars Piguet watch and Alessia delivering a Cartier watch and jewelry.
The attackers also demanded the password for a safe, but Alessia claimed she didn't know the code and that the safe was empty. The attackers responded with violence, pulling her hair and hitting her legs.
The attackers had used a ladder to reach the roof of the building and then descended to the balcony, where they broke a window to gain entry. After the attack, Donnarumma and Alessia managed to free themselves and sought help at a nearby hotel. They were later taken to the hospital.
Three men, including Kherbouch and Khyan Mamouni, were on trial for the assault, with Kherbouch and Mamouni denying involvement. Moktar Diop, 24, admitted to participating in the invasion but denied being responsible for the attacks on Donnarumma and Alessia.
The trial had moments of tension, with Kherbouch and Mamouni arguing with police and being removed from the courtroom. The session was even interrupted due to insults and confusion in the court, according to The Telegraph.
The case has now been closed, with Kherbouch and Mamouni receiving their sentences.
