Kane has found the net 99 times in only 97 league outings for Bayern Munich, the record Bundesliga champions. This achievement is all the more impressive considering the 33-year-old hit 95 Bundesliga goals more quickly than any other player in the division’s history. For context, Dieter Müller, the previous record holder, needed 123 matches to reach the same milestone goals for Cologne.
A Kane goal against a struggling Union Berlin side on 18 September would leave the Bayern star on 100 goals after only 98 appearances - 31 games (almost an entire Bundesliga season!) fewer than the former West Germany striker. Kane has found the net once every 78.5 minutes in the Bundesliga since his arrival in 2023 - a quota better than the likes of Erling Haaland (87 minutes), Robert Lewandowski (100) and Gerd Müller (105).
