Jan Virgili has made a deliberate choice to join Club Brugge, according to Albert Sánchez, who spoke to Het Laatste Nieuws. Sánchez believes Virgili will adapt to the Belgian game, which he describes as challenging for foreign players. "It's hard, a lot of duels, a lot of transitions," Sánchez said.
Sánchez also highlighted Virgili's potential to excel in the European top, citing his hunger for action and ability to score with both feet. "Jan is a type of winger that's not as common in Europe anymore," Sánchez said. "He lives for one-on-one situations, always looks for space and can score with both his right and left foot."
Club Brugge paid a reported €12 million for the Spanish winger in the summer, and will be hoping Virgili's development takes him in the direction of the European top.
