Manager Martin O'Neill has confirmed that both Hogh and Tierney could play a part in Wednesday's Scottish Premiership match at St Johnstone. Hogh, Celtic's record signing, has not played since the second leg of Celtic's Champions League play-off defeat against LASK on 25 August. Tierney, meanwhile, missed the wins against Aberdeen and St Mirren.
O'Neill said: "We've had Kasper back the last couple of days and Kieran did a little bit of work with us [on Tuesday] morning, so we'll have a look to see how they are." The manager also mentioned that the team has a couple of other fitness issues, but will try to go as strong as possible.
Celtic will be without winger Yang Hyun-jun for the encounter with St Johnstone, as the South Korea international takes part in the Asian Games. O'Neill says Yang will be a "big miss", particularly with two derby meetings against Rangers to come either side of a Europa League opener with Ferencvaros.
