Flemming's move to Ipswich has been a success, with the striker already scoring his first goal for the club against Crystal Palace in just two appearances. Lille, who were initially interested in signing Flemming, ended up securing the services of Ayase Ueda instead, a move that saved them around £5 million compared to Flemming's transfer fee.
Flemming will continue to play in the Premier League, having avoided relegation with Burnley last season. The striker expressed his relief at finally securing a transfer, saying: "After a year, you expect a big move. It finally happened, but I had to wait a long time."
