The UEFA duo will share the results of their investigations with the presidents of the 55 member federations of the instance in a month's time, according to L'Équipe Football. This move comes as opponents of FIFA president Gianni Infantino seek the best candidate to replace him.
Victor Montagliani, a Canadian, is reportedly in the running to replace Infantino, alongside Sheikh Salman. UEFA, however, has its sights set on Nasser al-Khelaïfi, who is not yet ready to engage in the battle.
The investigation findings will be presented at a meeting scheduled for October 8 in Berlin, which usually serves as a briefing on European competitions. This time, however, the focus will be solely on how to remove Infantino from his position as FIFA president at the instance's congress in Rabat, Morocco on March 18.
