The club has identified several dozen individuals who were involved in the incident and are now in line for a stadium ban. This includes not only those who directly shot fireworks, but also those who helped coordinate the action or held up large flags to conceal the perpetrators. Additionally, individuals who wore bivakmutsen, which are prohibited on tribunes, will also face consequences.
Feyenoord has already announced that it will not take any supporters to the upcoming away matches with NEC and PEC Zwolle due to the disturbances. The club's decision to leave the away stand empty for the next two away matches has been welcomed by trainer Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who believes it is a good step towards addressing the issue.
The club's statement on the matter reads: "The process of image analysis and identification of those involved is still ongoing, but for the individuals in question, their season ticket will be revoked, they will receive a local stadium ban, and they will be reported to the KNVB for a national stadium ban."
