According to Le Télégramme, the ceremony will take place before the match between Stade Brestois and PSG on Sunday evening (20h45). The tribute will start shortly after 19 hours, when the gates of Francis-Le Blé stadium will open. At 19h45, a wreath will be laid by the president of Stade Brestois Denis Le Saint, the club's general manager Pascal Robert, and Éric Roy's widow Loetitia, in front of the fresco depicting the 'King'.
Victoria-Rose, Éric Roy's daughter, and Loetitia will speak before a minute of applause. Brestois and Parisians will wear a black armband. Stade Brestois players will wear a jersey with a crown on the front and the name 'King' on the back. The PSG will also offer a jersey in tribute to Roy, followed by a video in the stadium. The players will enter the field to the song 'Magnificent' by U2, a song chosen by Éric Roy himself.
