The move comes after a series of injuries to Chapecoense's right-back position. Dudu, who has played for several clubs including Figueirense, Criciúma, and Internacional, joins the team in the last day of the transfer window. He is expected to arrive in Chapecó on Sunday.
Dudu has experience playing in the Série A, having made 15 appearances for Criciúma in 2024. He also played for Guarani this season, making three appearances and scoring one goal. With his arrival, Chapecoense now has four options for the right-back position: Bruno Tubarão, Dudu, Everton, and Heitor.
Dudu's loan deal will run until the end of the Série A season, providing Chapecoense with a much-needed boost to their right-back position.
