The match against SC Cambuur will be the first time NEC fans are allowed to attend a Cambuur match since the incident on 23 August, when Feyenoord fans misbehaved by setting off and throwing fireworks, injuring seven people. As a result, Cambuur initially decided to keep the outstand closed for their next home match against FC Twente. However, after further discussion with the authorities, Cambuur has now decided to reopen the outstand.
Cambuur has taken additional measures to ensure safety, including placing nets around the outstand. The club will continue to assess whether extra measures are necessary in the coming period. The match between Cambuur and NEC is scheduled for Saturday at 21:00.
