Brazil are set to play a couple of friendly matches during the November break for international duty. They will be up against Japan on November 14, then Singapore in a lucrative opportunity on November 17. The Seleçao has named a strong squad for the upcoming matches, with Inter’s Carlos Augusto, Roma winger Wesley, and Torino goalkeeper Lucas Perri among the selected players.
Carlos Augusto, a versatile Inter defender, can play in a back three, on the right of a five-man midfield or the left, and is their top scorer in the Champions League this season. Roma winger Wesley is also able to cover either flank, but in a more exclusively attacking role. Torino goalkeeper Perri arrived over the summer from Leeds United, on loan with option to buy at the end of the season for €16m.
The Brazil squad for Japan and Singapore includes goalkeepers Bento (Al-Nassr), Lucas Perri (Torino), and Pedro Morisco (Coritiba). The next step for the Seleçao will be to prepare for the friendly matches against Japan and Singapore, with Ancelotti looking to identify form players for his team.
