Borussia Dortmund are eyeing a loan move for the 19-year-old before the transfer window closes, with the German giants looking to bolster their options for this season's Champions League. Dortmund have identified Nwaneri as a late target, and they will face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on November 24, although Nwaneri would be unlikely to be eligible to face his parent club should he make the move.

Nwaneri has yet to feature for Arsenal this season and is expected to leave the club, with previous talks held with Galatasaray before interest emerged from clubs in Germany. As well as Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen have also been earmarked as a potential landing spot for the teenager, who has scored twice in ten Champions League outings for Arsenal.

Bundesliga sides have until 7pm UK time on Tuesday to finalise their summer business, although the window being open in England would give them another four hours.
