According to a recent report, Bayern Munich have received nine nominations across the 12 categories for the 2026 Ballon d'Or awards. The Bavarians' men's team are in the running for Men's Club of the Year. Vincent Kompany is among those who could be crowned Men’s Coach of the Year. Bayern's women's team have also been nominated for Women's Club of the Year after matching the men in sealing a domestic double while making the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. Klara Bühl and Pernille Harder are in contention for Women's Player of the Year. Harry Kane, Michael Olise, and Luis Díaz are all shortlisted for Men's Player of the Year. A jury of 100 international football journalists will vote for the winner before the awards ceremony in October.
