AZ and Colorado Rapids are in advanced talks over the transfer of winger Ibrahim Sadiq, with the player already undergoing a medical in the United States. Voetbal International reports that Sadiq has been out of action this season, having not played a single minute. The 23-year-old had a productive spell at AZ, scoring 18 goals and providing seven assists in 85 appearances across three seasons. However, his lack of playing time this season has led to a decision to sell him. A transfer fee of around €1 million is reportedly being discussed.
Sadiq still had two years left on his contract at AZ, but the club has been willing to let him go due to his limited prospects. Colorado Rapids has been in talks with AZ over the transfer, and it appears a deal is close to being finalized.
