Calvin Stengs believes the match would have been different if he had scored a crucial chance. The AZ forward shot the ball over the goal from close range, and thinks that if he had scored, the team would have been 2-0 up at halftime. "Of course. Then you might have a different game," Stengs said in an interview with ESPN.
Stengs' missed chance was a turning point in the match, and he thinks it's clear that it cost his team the win. "That's obvious. I miss a big chance on 2-0, that's crap. I hit it wrong. I don't even know. It's too hard, too wild. It's stupid," he reacted.
