Ararat Armenia's recent 0-1 win over BKMA Yerevan in the Armenian Premier League has given them a boost ahead of their Europa League tie against AZ. The Armenian side had previously suffered a 3-1 defeat against Jagiellonia Białystok in the Europa League. Ararat Armenia's Arayik Eloyan scored the winning goal in the first ten minutes of the match, securing his fifth goal of the season.
AZ will face Ararat Armenia in the Europa League on Thursday, and may be at a disadvantage due to their busy schedule. The Dutch club will then face Armenian top-flight leaders FC Noah just four days later.
