Feyenoord's victory over AZ was a well-deserved one, with Nacho Ferri and Javi López scoring crucial goals for the team. This has propelled Feyenoord to the top of the Eredivisie table, with PSV closely following in second place. Ajax, meanwhile, has struggled to maintain its position, conceding five points to Feyenoord and now sitting in fifth place.
PSV's recent match against sc Heerenveen was a closely contested one, with the team ultimately securing a narrow victory. This has kept the title holders in the running for the top spot, but Feyenoord's strong performance has given them a significant lead. Ajax's draw against NEC has also hindered their chances, with the team now facing a tough task to catch up with the leaders.
