The Italian side have named the maximum of 25 senior players on their List A, including summer signings Thomas Kristensen, Gianluca Gaetano and deadline day recruit Jonathan Rowe. According to UEFA regulations, teams are permitted to name a maximum of 25 players on their List A, with at least two goalkeepers and eight 'locally trained players' included. Football Italia reports that Atalanta have included nine 'locally-trained players' in their List A, including Marco Carnesecchi, Marco Sportiello, Rauolo Bellanova, Lorenzo Bernasconi, Giorgio Scalvini, Gianluca Gaetano, Nicola Zalewski, Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca.
Atalanta's List A also includes two U23 players, Tommaso De Nipoti and Sergej Levak, who are not eligible for List B due to their age and playing experience. The Italian side have also named an unlimited number of players on their List B, typically reserved for youth-team players. The UEFA squad submission deadline for the league phase campaign is September 2.
