Jan Wuytens, a former assistant coach of Tolu Arokodare at KRC Genk, believes the Nigerian striker has specific qualities that make him unstoppable. Wuytens recalls that Arokodare really broke through in his second season at Genk, particularly when they trained more on set pieces and throwing the ball into the box. "In his second season, Tolu is really unstoppable when training on set pieces," Wuytens said.

Wuytens also praises Arokodare's ability to win over everyone at certain clubs. "He has a sort of magic that makes him win over everyone at certain clubs," the former player, who has also played for AZ and FC Utrecht, said. Arokodare played for Genk from 2023 to 2025 before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers for 26 million euros. The English club currently has him on loan at Ajax, which has a purchase option of 22 million euros.
