Ajax's coach Míchel believes that the team needs to work on their defensive skills, as they conceded two goals against Excelsior. "We have created enough chances, but we have missed too many," said Míchel. "We need to work on our defensive patterns and make sure we don't concede as many goals."
Ajax's captain Davy Klaassen also expressed his disappointment, stating that the team needs to improve their defensive skills. "If you concede a goal, you need to defend as a team, not just one player," he said. "We have been good going forward, but not always good defensively. We need to work on that."
Ajax will now take a break before resuming their season, with Míchel planning to work on the team's defensive skills during the interland break.
