Wouter Goes, the central defender of AZ, has withdrawn from Jong Oranje's upcoming matches against Norway, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. According to AZ and the KNVB, Goes is not fully match-fit, which has led to his withdrawal. This decision means that he will return to Alkmaar. Goes played the full 90 minutes in AZ's recent match against Telstar, but will now miss the three upcoming internationals. Tygo Land has been called up as his replacement and has joined the Jong Oranje selection immediately. Land will be in action against Norway, Slovenia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The first home match of Jong Oranje is scheduled for Friday, 25 September, where they will face the Norwegian under-21 team at De Adelaarshorst in Deventer, kicking off at 18:30.
