West Ham United had submitted a loan offer to AS Roma for the 24-year-old left-back, following the sale of El Hadji Malick Diouf to Brentford for a reported £40 million. However, according to ED reporter Rik Elfrink, Salah-Eddine will remain at the Stadio Olimpico.
Salah-Eddine had previously played on loan at PSV last season, with the Dutch champions keen to sign him permanently for a reported €8 million. However, the left-back turned down the offer to pursue his chances with AS Roma. It's also been reported that he rejected an approach from Olympiakos for similar reasons.
