Virgil Misidjan has signed a contract with RKC Waalwijk until the end of the season, with an option for another season. The 33-year-old winger joins the club on a free transfer, according to the club's official channels. Voetbalzone reports that Misidjan comes to RKC Waalwijk after his contract with NEC expired. He made 20 appearances for the Nijmegen-based club, scoring once and providing two assists.
RKC Waalwijk's technical director, Bernard Schuiteman, has spoken positively about the new signing. "With Virgil, we were able to attract a player who brings a lot of experience and has proven himself at a high level for many years. We have a lot of talent on the wings, and with Virgil, we add an experienced player to that.
