The 20-year-old midfielder has joined the Lincolnshire-based team, who play in the Southern League Premier Central division, as one of five new arrivals. Young was a free agent earlier this summer following his release from Ipswich Town, where he had a brief stint before being loaned out to non-league outfits Chatham Town and Potters Bar Town. He developed in the academies of Arsenal and QPR before penning senior terms with League One outfit Peterborough United in 2024.
Young made just two appearances for National League South side Walton and Hersham before joining Stamford. The club has endured a difficult start to the 2026/27 Southern League Premier Central Division campaign, sitting last in the competition with a poor goal difference.
