Textor claims that RWDM has failed to repay a loan of two million euros that his company Wyndcrest Holdings provided to the club in May. The loan was given to RWDM, which was already in financial difficulties at the time, to help pay off bills and salaries. According to BRUZZ, future transfer income was supposed to be used as collateral for the loan. However, Textor's lawyer says that his client has yet to receive any payment and that Wyndcrest has not received sufficient clarity on RWDM's transfer income and financial recovery plan.
The case is now before the French-speaking commercial court in Brussels, where Textor is seeking transparency and access to RWDM's financial records. The lawyer for Textor's company Wyndcrest Holdings has stated that the goal is not to further burden the club, but to prevent Textor from being left with nothing.
