Former Feyenoord player Martijn Krabbendam commented on St. Juste's behaviour, stating that he could understand why Geertruida was angry. Krabbendam described St. Juste's actions as "irritating" and believed that anyone would have reacted similarly to Geertruida.
Krabbendam also discussed St. Juste's motivation to return to Feyenoord. He stated that St. Juste had trained throughout the summer to return as the team's fittest player and had achieved this goal. St. Juste wanted to stay at Feyenoord and did not want to leave the club.
