Sarinha, a 16-year-old midfielder from São Paulo, has been called up to the Brazilian women's national team sub-17 for the second phase of preparation for the Copa do Mundo Feminina Sub-17 in Morocco. The team will gather at the Granja Comary in Teresópolis on 22 September, where they will train and prepare until 4 October. The final list of 21 players will be announced in the first week of October.
Sarinha has been part of the Brazilian team that won the Conmebol League Evolution for women's sub-15 in 2025 and was a key player in the team that won the South American Championship in May. She has also won titles with the São Paulo youth teams. The midfielder, who started playing football at the age of six, has a strong background in futsal and has played for several clubs in Brazil.
The Copa do Mundo Feminina Sub-17 will take place in Morocco from 17 October to 7 November, with the Brazilian team competing in Group C alongside Canada, Norway, and Ghana.
