Paulo Silas, a former San Lorenzo player, has expressed his disappointment with the current state of the club. Silas played for San Lorenzo in 125 matches and scored 25 goals, winning the Torneo Clausura 1995 and the Copa Libertadores 2014 with the club.
The club's struggles are not new, as they have recently fired Pipo Gorosito and rehired Ruben Darío Insua as coach. Silas compared the current situation to his time at the club, stating that they used to win because they had a good place to train, good balls, and good food.
