According to BBC Football, Saka came off the bench to assist Eberechi Eze's strike and roll in the side's third goal, shaking off illness to make a huge impact in the match. The 25-year-old has now scored four goals in nine games this season and looks to be taking the next step in his evolution as Arsenal's key man.

Arteta has tweaked Saka's positioning this season to get him closer to the goal, and the winger has been getting in great positions, getting shots, and getting one-touch finishes. Saka has scored 20 goals in a season just once in his career, but has been in good goalscoring form for England with five in his last four matches and scored a double in the 7-0 Nations League demolition of Croatia.

Saka is now on 19 goals in major European competitions for Arsenal, only behind Thierry Henry (42), while he has nine assists in the Champions League which puts him behind Henry (16) and Cesc Fabregas (14). Arteta welcomed Saka's response following his message to do more in front of goal, saying: "He wasn't feeling that good yesterday and today, as he had some sort of illness. He wasn't ready to start but he was really wanting to contribute to the team if it was needed and he came on and made a huge impact and delivered with real quality."

The next step for Saka will be to continue his good form and see if he can maintain his goal-scoring streak, with Arsenal facing several tough matches in the coming weeks.
