Record-Breaking Transfer
River Plate has confirmed the purchase of Thiago Almada, the highest investment in Argentine football history. The transfer was agreed upon verbally on Thursday and finalized on Friday. Thiago Almada will arrive in Argentina on Monday and is registered for the Copa Sudamericana.
Multiple Signings
River Plate has been active in the transfer market, acquiring several players to strengthen their squad. Ángel Correa was purchased from Tigres de México for $15 million. Mauro Arambarri joined from Getafe for $7 million, and Tobías Andrada was acquired from Vélez for $6 million. Lucas Beltrán joined from Fiorentina on loan with a $500,000 charge and a $6.75 million obligation to buy 54% of his contract. Rafael Santos Borré returned to River Plate for $2.5 million and accepted a significant salary reduction.

River Plate also acquired Giovanni González from Krasnodar for $500,000 and Francisco Ortega from Olympiacos for €5 million.
